The 8th edition of Madia Expo saw the participation of eighty producers, among which was in particular Olitalia with its oils from the I Dedicati range, presented and interpreted by internationally acclaimed chef Giancarlo Perbellini.
The annual event that Madia organizes for the professionals from the food service industry took place in the historical building of Villa Brandolini d’Adda, a magical place able to evoke images of times gone by.
A 3-day full immersion, from Sunday the 31stof March to Tuesday the 2ndof April, during which participants were able to discover the news from the Italian and international food service industry, make contacts and meet up with other experts. As always ample space was dedicated to raw ingredients for restaurants, among which Olitalia’s extra virgin olive oils and frying oils couldn’t be missing.
On this occasion award winning chef Giancarlo Perbellini presented I Dedicati, the extra virgin olive oils for fish and for pasta researched by Olitalia with the JRE association, with two recipes developed specifically for the event Madia Expo. A great cooking lesson that resulted in the creation of signature dishes in which oil is one of the protagonists.
