Olitalia in Vicenza with chef Renato Rizzardi on the occasion of Cosmofood

The seventh edition of the Cosmofood fair, an important manifestation for the food, beverage and professional equipment for restaurants world in the Tri Veneto Area, took place from the 9th to the 13th of November.

Vicenza (a city in the Veneto region in northeast Italy) once again hosted the fair dedicated to Italian food and wine excellence open both to professionals from the Ho.Re.Ca sector as well as to the public, an event thought up to create business possibilities both with foodies and with the distribution. On this occasion Olitalia – hosted in the exhibition space of Marchi Spa – presented the I Dedicati gourmet line, a series of oils created in collaboration with the JRE association, of which the cultivars were selected to best harmonize with different dishes (pasta, meat, fish, vegetables).
The I Dedicati were protagonists in an interesting cooking show at Cosmofood held by Renato Rizzardi from JRE Italy, chef at La Locanda di Piero in Montecchio Precalcino (a town in the province of Vicenza): “Olitalia’s I Dedicati are an intelligent range of oils that have put the focus on the problem of using oil in cuisine. A theme not to be treated lightly, because oil really can add to or, in the case when it is not chosen correctly or is not of a good quality, take away from a dish”.
The fair, which once again achieved an optimum success, will return from the 7th to the 11th of November 2020.
