Olitalia supports the Emerging Chef, Emerging Pizza Chef and Emerging Front of House awards

The 2019 edition of Luigi Cremona and Lorenza Vitali’s Gastronomy Festival, with the presence of the best young chefs from the most important companies of the sector, took place in Rome at the Officine Farneto.

At the end of October, within the fair created by Luigi Cremona and Lorenza Vitali in Rome, the Emerging Chef competition drew to a close at “The Gastronomy Festival”. The event, created also thanks to the support from Olitalia, saw the most talented under 30-year-old chefs and under 35-year-old pizza chefs in Italy compete, contending respectively with producing a zero-cooking recipe and a long-cooking recipe and with preparing a fried dish and a recipe on the theme of the oven.

To triumph were Gianluca Durillo, working for around 2 years in the kitchen of the Madonnina del Pescatore restaurant in Senigallia (a town on Italy’s Adriatic coast), in the “Best Emerging Chef 2019” category, and Lorenzo Sirabelladi, from Dry Solferino in Milan (a city in the Lombardy region in northern Italy), in the “Best Emerging Pizza Chef 2019” category.
Olitalia’s gourmet lines the I Dedicati and Frienn were protagonists of the various events of the manifestation, best accompanying the work of the chefs and pizza chefs.
Moreover, Olitalia had the pleasure of awarding the winner of the Emerging Front of House Award, given to Gabriele Bianchi from the Villa Crespi restaurant.
