Spessore: 50 chefs and pizza chefs together in Torriana

The seventh edition of the event “Spessore Campo Base” at which 50 chefs and pizza chefs confronted the theme “W la liberta” (“Long live liberty”) took place from the 18th to the 21st of June in the hills near Rimini.

“Liberty to conceive, to experiment, to have fun, to transgress, to be affected, to indulge, liberty to express cuisine in its many forms without classifications or hierarchies”. These were the guidelines for chefs, pizza chefs and producers that in Torriana (a town near Rimini) gave life to Spessore, the manifestation created by Fausto Fratti, historic patron of the Povero Diavolo restaurant. Coordinated by Gianluca Gorini and Pier Giorgio Parini, the chefs – amongst whom Antonia Klugmann, Christian Milone, Lorenzo Cogo and Giuseppe Iannotti – created dinners and cooking shows and gave life “to a meeting of souls, in the most extensive and intimate sense of the word, for all which moves the work of the chef and for that which knows how to create good” (Marco Colognese).

Olitalia, as ever alongside the restaurant world, was a partner of this beautiful event, where it was able to present its own headline products.
